Self-Review tool Acquainted for CBSE schools Performance

 

 

Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new self-review tool named as Saransh to track and diagnose the performances of schools affiliated with CBSE in contrast to its counterparts.  The schools would be able to assess their performances through a single click of mouse in the shape of numbers, graphs and charts to enable schools to understand easily.

Saransh is a comprehensive self-review tool for schools as it provides a complete snapshot and analysis of the school and will also suggest propositions to improve and to take actionable decisions to enhance the performance. Saransh initially would only be accessed by the schools through a user ID and password. CBSE in future has planned to grant access to this information and data to the parents also.

Depending upon the performance of students from class IX to XII schools will be ranked at a scholastic and co-scholastic levels. Saransh will provide a complete comprehensive picture of Class X SINCE 2007 and of Class XII since 2009 to the present academic session.

CBSE officials told that with the introduction of this new tool schools would have an opportunity to identify their weaknesses and strengths and to work upon them to boost their levels in comparison to its counterparts.

Principals across the country have valued the idea as there is always a room for improvement and self-evaluation. They said the use of this tool should not be followed in negative spirit in order just to reach at the top of list. The schools should get indulge in malpractices to attain high level.
